The wrong audio source is selected. Check in Windows sound settings which device your music is actually playing to, then select that same device in ElaDyne. If you want to broadcast the computer's own audio, you need to pick a loopback device such as "Stereo Mix".
Check these in order: 1) Is the password correct — a space may have been copied with it. 2) Does the mount point start with /. 3) Is the port right (usually 8000). 4) Is another program already connected to the same mount point — the server rejects the clash.
Usually your internet upload bandwidth is not enough. Add up your total: channel count × bitrate. For example 6 channels × 128 kbps = 768 kbps, and you need roughly 30% headroom on top of that. If your connection cannot carry it, lower the bitrate or add a backup server.
The computer may be overloaded. Check CPU usage in Task Manager; if it sits above 90% continuously, reduce the channel count or move to a more powerful machine. Also make sure your sound card driver is up to date.
Use the "Level and gain" control (0.1x – 2.0x) in the channel settings. Ideally the meter peaks should stay out of the red but sit in the upper part of the green.
Version 3.6.23 changed this: the program now runs at normal process priority and gives its audio threads the Windows MMCSS "Pro Audio" characteristic, which stops the desktop from becoming sluggish. Check Task Manager → Details and confirm the priority reads Normal. If it says "High", you are on an older build — please update.

Your server address (e.g. stream.myradio.com), port (8000), mount point (/myradio) and password all come from the company that provides your radio streaming server.
Yes. Turn on "Restore last session on startup" and "Run at Windows startup" in Settings → General, and your streams come back on air by themselves even after a reboot.
Yes. Using the "Left only" and "Right only" channel routing options you can split one stereo card into two independent mono streams, which effectively doubles your card count.
No. For 15 days every feature, every codec (Opus, AAC) and an unlimited number of channels are available. No credit card is required and nothing is charged when the trial ends.
Sign in to your customer panel, open the "My Devices" tab, release the old computer and activate your licence on the new one straight away. You can do this yourself without contacting us.
Check your spam or junk folder first. If it is not there, sign in to your customer panel — your key is always shown under "My Licences".
No. The licence validation is stored on your computer with a digital signature. Even if your connection goes down temporarily, the program keeps running and does not raise a licence error.
Yes. Pricing is based on the number of computers the program runs on, not the number of channels. Open 40 channels on one machine and you pay exactly the same fixed fee.
At the moment we accept bank transfer / EFT. When you choose a plan we send you the payment and corporate invoicing details. Your licence is activated automatically once the payment is confirmed.
Yes. A legal e-invoice is issued to the company name and tax number in your account details, and sent to your email address.
You can stop your subscription whenever you like. Your streams keep running until the end of the period you have paid for. After that the licence is frozen — your channel settings are not deleted.
ElaDyne Broadcaster takes audio from sound cards and forwards it to your server; it does not play music itself. For automatic music fallback and Auto-DJ there is a companion product, ElaDyne Monitor.
Opus (6–510 kbps VBR), AAC-LC, HE-AAC v1 and HE-AAC v2. Each channel's codec and bitrate is configured independently.
Four protocols are supported: Icecast 2 (PUT), Icecast 2 (POST), Shoutcast v1 and Shoutcast v2. You can pick the protocol separately for each channel. For hotel installations the recommended profile is HE-AAC v2 (AAC+) at 32 kbps stereo.
No. You need your own Icecast or Shoutcast server. We are happy to advise you on choosing a provider.
No. ElaDyne is built specifically for Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit) in order to get low-latency sound card access through WASAPI.
There is no limit in the software itself — the limit is your computer's power and your upload bandwidth. It has been tested with more than 40 simultaneous channels.
